Course description
As soon as a radioactive material goes onto public roadways, the shipper, the carriers and the handlers must all be aware of whether it is a Class 7 dangerous good. Employers must provide everyone involved in the program with transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) training. We specialize in Class 7 radioactive materials, and offer training for both land and air transportation.
TDG Class 7 knowledge-based training in the following areas:
- Fixed nuclear gauge
- Portable nuclear gauge (nucleodensimeter)
- Exposure device (gammagraphy)
- Log sources
- Radiopharmaceutical sources (production and nuclear medicine)
- Research radionuclides
- Naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM)
We make the most of our expertise in radiation protection to cover certain considerations related to the transport of dangerous goods. Class 7 is quite particular!
