Manon Rouleau has joined the team as Vice-President of Operations and Quality Control. She will oversee the radioprotection work performed by physicists and the quality of our operations both internally and at client facilities. An engineer-physicist by training, Manon began her carrier at the Gentilly II Nuclear Power Plant. She then took on the role of an inspector at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, followed by a radioprotection management position overseeing McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) sites. She took a 15-year hiatus from the nuclear and radioisotope industry to take on the world of X-rays, first as a radioprotection physicist and then as the interim director of the Public Health Laboratory of Québec’s radioprotection program, which managed private radiology labs, including the Québec Breast Cancer Screening program. Manon then became Interim Director for the Centre d’expertise clinique en radioprotection, a facility that has made a significant contribution to reducing patient doses in CT imaging protocols with its province-wide hospital tours.

Manon’s varied and extensive experience in radioprotection, her ability to manage multidisciplinary teams of professionals and her sense of discipline and integrity will be a great benefit to the team of experts at Radioprotection Inc., which turned 35 years old in 2017.
